A single bowl becomes a canvas for edible art. That’s what a donburi (rice bowl) is.
There's the garlic butter oyster donburi with its aroma that fires up your appetite, kakuni donburi with pork that melts in your mouth, teriyaki mayo chicken donburi so glossy you can’t take your eyes off it, torotaku (toro with pickled daikon) donburi with its mushy-crunchy-snap textures that make eating fun.
This book crams in donburi you can savour with all five senses, in full colour.
