To become human, the nine-tailed fox Hyun-Su must fill 1,000 fox bowls with a woman’s affection. Just as he was about to fill the final bowl... Yi-Hwa, a woman from the Joseon Dynasty, died while clutching the bowl. Witnessing Yi-Hwa’s death, Hyun-Su feels betrayed by human love, and time continues to pass without her ever becoming human.
In 2025, by chance, Hyun-Su becomes entangled with a woman named Baek Ha-Jin. After discovering that Ha-Jin, who resembles Yi-Hwa, is her reincarnation and is holding the bowl, he resolves that this time, he will definitely win Ha-jJn’s affection and become human.
