Si-Bon, a celebrated perfumer in France, suddenly loses his sense of smell and, devoid of meaning in life, comes to Korea to die quietly. Rescued from drowning in the ocean by Ha-Eun, a strange man who runs an antique shop alone, Si-Bon receives a call from his friend Pierre, who offers a cure for his loss of smell. Finding hope, Si-Bon embarks on a three-month, part-time job at Ha-Eun's antique shop, hoping to return to France. However, Si-Bon becomes increasingly drawn into this strange man.
